<br />ilead Company in the County of Essex, incorporated as aforesaid, hem the - its w
<br />thereof, and also from the President And each of the Direotors of the said Companinn,

<br />A Br -LAw to Confirm By-Law No 214, passed by the Township of Maidston% in that
<br />County of Essex. Passed Januasy V*b..18U .
<br />WEMO the Corporation of the Township of Mai Istoue, a municipality within the
<br />County of Ebsex, on the 25th day of May, 1882, has certified the Municipal Council of
<br />the Corporation of the said County of Essex the passing of a By-Law No. 214 by the
<br />rid Corporation of the 'Township of Maidstone, which said By -Law is in the words
<br />sad figures following :
<br />.IBV.Law No. 214 — Whereas the Government allowance for a road sixty -six feet
<br />ride between lots Nos. six and seven on the went side of the River Puce is the'1'ows•
<br />ship of Maidstone has never been opened for public travel, and
<br />Whereas the said road is not required for public traffic on account of its close proz-
<br />imity to a good road, namely, the Base Line, which runs parallel to said road, and
<br />Whereas Michael Rourke and eleven others, ratepayers and owners of lands in the
<br />immediate vicinity of said road have petitioned the )municipal Council of the amid
<br />Township of Maidstone to either open up the said road or allow it to bb closed, and
<br />Whereas the said Municipal Council are of opinion that it is expedient and desim
<br />bleto close the said road and to sell the land occupied by the same to any person or
<br />puns with whom they may agree for such sale, and
<br />whereas the notices required by the statutes have been duly Riven.
<br />Be it erefore enacted by the Municipal Conrail of the said Township of Maid-
<br />done in ( Incil assembled, under and by virtue of ' An Act respecting Municipal
<br />institutions the Province of Ontario.' and it is hereby enacted under the authority
<br />of the samF, a bllows :
