<br />A By -Law to provide for the Current E:penres of the County of Ewes, for the per, taL PuM

<br />'"'hereas it is necessary to provide the sum of $12,900 to defray the 6pertw of tk
<br />County of Essex. in accordance to the estimate of the Finance Cossmittee;
<br />And whereas, for the purpose of raising the said sum of $12,90o, it will rewire a I*
<br />of two mills in the dollar upon all rateable prpperty in the said Cosaty of Essex.
<br />Be it therefore eructed, by the Corporation of the County of Essex in Council Ulm
<br />bled, and it is hereby granted by the authority o'f the same that there shall be Q,
<br />levied and collected a rate of two mills in the dollar upon all rateable prope y a tk
<br />said County of Essex, for the purpose of raising the said sum of $12,9007 in addition to tk
<br />other rates, in assessments for aid during the present year of the •General expelrres of tk
<br />current year
<br />And be it further enacted, that the sum of one dollar avid fifty eents be paid to W
<br />and every Grand and Petit Juror for each day's attendance at any Court of Assize.

<br />And be it also. enacted, that the Sheriff of the said County shall be entitled to rttritt

<br />namely: For every pay -list the sum of one dollar, for checking the same the so j twenty -five cents per diewo and for certifying and returning the same to the Tivam d

<br />And be it further enacted, that all sums paya , the certified
<br />law shall be paid by the Treasurer of the County Upon pay -list of tit

<br />And be it further enacted, that the burthen of the several assessments above regoed
<br />shall be apportioned amongst and borne by the several Municipalities in the propoitin
<br />or shares hereinafter mentioned, and the several sums set opposite to the aama of ad
<br />Municipality in the schedule hereunder written, which schedule shall form part of Ihis
