i The Corporation of the County O'f Essex By-Law o. 39-20'13 Being a -law, to Confirm the Proceedings of the Council of The Corporation of the County of Essex Whereas under Section Q1 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 as amended, the powers of a municipality shall be exercised by its Council) and Whereas as under Section 3 of the 6w°llunicipall Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 as arnendled, a umunicipal power, including a municipality's capacity, rights, powers and privileges under Sectlion 8 of the Municipal t, Act, 20011, &0. 2001, c.2 as amended, shall be exercised by by-law J unless the municipality is spe�cificailly aiuthoirized to do otherwise; and, t r Whereas it is deemed expedient that the proceedings of the ouincil of The Corporation of the County of Essex, at this meeting be confirmed and adopted by b -law' Now therefore The Council of the Corporation, of the i County of .Essex hereby enacts as follows: f 1. That the actions of the Council of The Corporation of the County of Essex in respect of all irecom mend ations in reports of I committees, all motions and resollutions and all other action passed and taken by the Council of The Corporation of the County of Essex, documents and transactions entered into during the May 1'r, 2013, regular IMeeting of Council, are hereby 0 adopted and confirmed, as if the same were expressly embodied in this By-law. . That the Warden and proper officials of The Corporation of the County of Essex are hereby authorized and directed to do ailll the thins necessary to give effect to the action of the Council of The Corporation of the Couinty of Essex during the said May V�', l 2013, Regular ular eetin referred to in Section 1 of thiis By-law. I That the Warden and the Clerk are hereby authorized' and directed to execuite all documents necessary to the action taken by this Council as described in Section 1 of this By-law and to affix the Corporate Seal of The Corporation of the County of Essex to allll documents referred to in sand Section 1. .
