Y-L W 17o8 A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF AN AGRE~vIENT BETWEEN THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX AND THE CORPORATIONS OF THE TOWNSHIPS OF MAISSTONE & ROCHESTER WHEREAS Section 59 of The Highway Improvement Act, R. S. O. 1960, Chapter 171, and amendments thereto, provides that the Council of a local municipality which is not separated from the County may enter into an agreement with the Council of the County providing for the construction of a pavement wider than twenty-two feet on any county road in such municipality; AND WHEREAS the ~owns~ips of Maidstone and Rochester are not separated from the County, and the following street therein forms ~part of the County Road System of the County of Essex; being County Road #27-Belle River Road in South Woodslee extending from the United Church northerly 1800 feet or thereabouts AND WHEREAS it is in the public interest that the said road, as described above, be constructed; THEREFORE be it enacted and it.is hereby enacLed by the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex as follows: (1) THAT the Warden and Clerk be and %hey are hereby authorized and diPected to execute on behalf of the Corporation of the County of Essex and to seal with the corporate seal thereof, the said agreement hereunto annexed.
