Lemire, Stephen Aubrev, Emilie Chauvin, Henry Dee• <br />jardine, 0. Paquette and other inhabitants of Stoney Point, an unincorporateavd. <br />lage, in the Township of Tilbury West. had, by their petition, prayed that As <br />said unincorporated village of Stoney Point be erected into a Police Village, and it <br />is advisable to grant the prayer of the said petition. <br />Be it therefore enacted by the Municipal Council of the Corporation d ike <br />County of Essex in Council assembled, under and by virtue of the Municipal <br />Act of Ontario, and it is hereby enacted that • the unincorporated village of <br />Stoney Point, in the Township of Tilbury West, in the County of Essex, be, <br />and the same is hereby erected and established into a Police Village. <br />And it is farther enacted that the limits of the said Police Village of Stoney <br />Point shall be as follows : Commencing at a post plsnted at the water's edge <br />of Lake St. Clair, at the line between the east and west halves of lot No. 9, is <br />broken front concession of the Township of Tilbury West; thence South a <br />distance of 39 chains 30 links; thence south 88 0 36m, a distwum of 91 shaias <br />to the line between the E & W j} of lot No. 6, in the let concession Of said <br />Townmtip of Tilbur• West; thence north a distance of 48 chains ; thence asst a <br />distanon of 15 ehairle and 15 links • thence southeasterly following the nor* <br />side of the Tecumseh Road a digtanco of 84 chains and 50 hnxe to the line b♦ <br />twsen lots Nos. 7 and 8 ; thence nortfi a distance of 82 chains and 46 links to <br />the water's edge of Lake St. Clair; thence southeasterly following the water's <br />edge of said lake a diatanee of 4kchains and 70 linkp to the place of beginning, <br />containing by admeasurement four hundred and four sores (401.4) decimal 4, in <br />other words containing by admeasurement 404 and 4 -10 acres. <br />And it is further enacted that the first election of Police Trustees for the <br />said Police Village of Stoney Point, shall be held at the Stoney Point Hall, in <br />sod Police Villagt, and that Stephen Aubrey, of said 'lownship of Tilbury <br />West, shall be the returning officer therefor. <br />(Signed), THOS.
