McHEE, Wardes. <br />Clerk. <br />BY -LAW NO. 2780 <br />L Bylaw to repeal By-Law No. 88. <br />Passed January 28th, 1881. <br />WHEREAS owing tothe separation of the Town of Windaor from the <br />County of Essex, the Grammar School established in the said Town of Windom <br />is now wholly under the jurisdiction of the said Town. <br />Be it therefore enacted by the Council of the County of Bonex. that the By. <br />Law passed by the said Coundil on the 5th day of November, 1857, and num• <br />bored 38, be and the same is Hereby repealed. <br />• (Signed), GEO. McHEE, Warden. <br />Clerk. <br />BY -LAW NO. 1790 <br />A By -lam to adopt Ruin of Order for the County Council of the County of Esee:. <br />Passed January 28th, 1881. <br />WHEREAS it is expedient and necessary to adopt Rules of Order for the <br />County Council of the County of Essex. <br />Be it therefore enacted by the County Council of the County, that the fal. <br />lowing Rules of Order be and they are hereby adopted as the Rules of Order of <br />the said Council: <br />M&ETIN08 AND ADJOURNMENTS. <br />1. That on the first day of each session, the Courcil shall assemble at the <br />hour of 2 o'clock p.m., and on all other days as agreed by motion of the previou <br />day. <br />2. That at the first meeting of the Council in each year, the Clerk shall call <br />the Council to order, call the roll containing the names of the members of the <br />Council, and request nominations for Warden, and after a delay of half an hour, <br />if two or more candidates are nominated, shall open a pdi, ask each member <br />distinctly for whom he votes, record the votes, and when a candidate has rr <br />osived a majority of the votes, declare him eleoted. <br />S. That upon a quorum being assembled, the Warden shall take the chair, <br />call the membere to order, and the Clerk shall call the roll. <br />4. Tbb Warden shall preserve Oder and decorum, decide all questioua of <br />order, subject to an appeal to the Council, and without argument or com• <br />ment' shell state the rule applicable to aLy point of order or practice whoa <br />called upon. <br />6. That less tl. ,u a quorum may meet, but shall not hVe power to cos• <br />sider any question except au adjournment. <br />6.
