YCHEE, <br />Clerk. <br />BY -LAW NO. 9780 <br />I By -law to repeal By -Law No. 38. <br />the County of <br />RUSSELL, <br />Warden. <br />Passed January 38th, 1881. <br />WHEREAS owingto the separation of the Town of Windsor from the <br />County of Essex, the Grammar School established in the said Town of Windsor <br />is now wholly under the jurisdiction of the said Town. <br />Be it therefore enacted by the Council of the County of Essex that the By. <br />Law passed by the said Council on the 5th day of November, 18.57, and num- <br />bered 38, be and the same is hereby repealed. <br />(Signed), GEO. McKEE, Warden, <br />Clerk. <br />BY -LAW NO. 52796 <br />L By -law to adopt Rules of Order for the County Council of the Country of Esass. <br />Passed January 38th, 1881. <br />WHEREAS it is expedient and necessary to adopt Rules of Order for the <br />County Council of the County of Essex. <br />Be it therefore Anactod by the County Council of the County, that the fol. <br />lowing Rules of Order be and they are hereby adopted as the Rules of Order of <br />the said Council: <br />M=ZTINOa AND ADJOUXXXXNT& <br />I. That on the first day of each session, the Council shall assemble at the <br />hour of 9 o'clock p.m., and on all other days as agreed by motion of the previous <br />day. <br />3. That at the first meeting of the Council iri each year, the Clerk shall can <br />the Council to order, call the roll containing the names of the members of the <br />Council, and request nominations for Warden, and after a delay of half an hour, <br />if two or more candidates are nominated, shall open a poll, aak each member <br />distinctly for whom he votes, record the votes, and when a ca"date has re. <br />oeivad a majority of the votes, declare him elected. <br />A. That upon a quorum being assembled, the Warden shat take the chair, <br />"ll the members to orl,r, and the Clerk sball call the roll. <br />4. The Warden shall preserve ardor and decerum, decide all questions of <br />order, subject to an appeal to the Council, and without argument or corn. <br />m4nt, shall state the rule applicable to "y point of order or practice when <br />celled non, <br />6.
