<br />meet Act of the Province of Ontario, have examined the assessment rolls of
<br />the several townships, towns and villages in the said county for the preceding
<br />financial year, for the purpose of ascertaining whether the valuation made by
<br />the assessment for the current year bears a just relation to the valuation so
<br />made in all such townships, towns and villages.
<br />And whereas, for the purpose of the county rates it is deemed necessary by
<br />the council aforesaid to produce a just relation between the valuation of the
<br />real and personal estate in the said county to increase or decrease the aggre-
<br />gate valuation of real and personal property in any such townships, towns, or
<br />villages in said county as provided by the Assessment Act.
<br />Be it therefore enacted, by the Corporation of the County of Essex, the
<br />municipal council thereof being duly convened and assembled, and it is hereby
<br />enacted that the following valuations shall be and the same are hereby fixed
<br />as the equalized valuations of real and personal property for the different town-
<br />ships, towns and villages, in the County of Essex, for the year 1880

<br />all that certain allowance for road from the tear of lot naaber
<br />the Talbot Road, In the township of Sandwich East Passed
<br />Whereas, the municipal council of the township of Sandwich East have, by
<br />resolution, requested this council to assume as a county road ; and
<br />Whereas, it is expedient and necessary to assume as a county road the allow-
<br />ance for road hereinafter described, in the said township of Sandwich East.
<br />Be it therefore enacted by the council of the Corporation of the County of
<br />Essex in Council assembled, and it is hereby enacted that the allowance for
<br />road from the rear end or north east corner of lot number 300, lying north of
<br />and adjoining the Talbot Road in the township of Sandwich East, to the
<br />line between the said township of Sandwich East and the township of Maid-
<br />stone, be and the same is hereby assumed as a county road for the purpose of
<br />expending the county appropriation upon the same and for that purpose only.

<br />Whereas, it is deemed necessary and expedient to make a new division of
<br />the County of Essex into two circuits for school inspection purposes and to de-
<br />fine the territorial limits thereof.
<br />1. Be it therefore enacted by the Municipal Council of the County of Essex,
<br />is council assembled, and it is hereby enacted that the first clause of by-law
<br />No. 150 is struck out, and the following substituted : That the said County of
<br />Essex be divided into two circuits, to be numbered "One" and "Two," the
<br />territorial limits of number " One" to be composed of the townships of Til.
<br />buryWest, Rochester, Maidstone, Sandwich East, Sandwich West and the
<br />�theetown,h town-ships River; the
<br />Colchester, Malden and to be composed derdon and
<br />the villages of Leamington and Kingsville.
<br />11. That the second clause of by -law No. 15o be, and the same is hereby
<br />4neaded by adding the words " and villages " after the word "townships."
<br />Ill. By -laws Nos. 213 and 238 are hereby repealed.
