Passed January,29th, x88o, <br />Whereas, by the Municipal Act of Ontario, the County Council of each county is re- <br />quired to appoint annually two persons, one of whom maybe a member of the said CO"* <br />cil,. to assist the Chairman in auditing the accounts of the Court of Ceneral Sessions 0f <br />the Peace, or of Oyer and Terminer and General Gaol Delivery: <br />Be it therefore enacted by the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County of <br />Essex, in Council assembled, that W. D. Balfour, one of the members of this Council, <br />and Thomas McKee, be, and they are hereby appointed to the said Board of Audit, soul <br />that the said parties shall be paid four dollars for each day's attendance at such audit, <br />and the further sum of five cents per mile necessarily travelled by the members of such <br />Board of Audit to and from the place of meeting of the said Board, and +the Warden is <br />hereby authorized to sign warrants for the same. <br />(Signed,) THOS.
