BY-LA *8 Of THR COUNT! OF SBUX. 11 <br />Town Hall, in the said village, at noon on the last Monday of the <br />month of December, 1877, and in case a poll be demanded, that the <br />same be opened on the first Monday in January, 1878. <br />IV. And be it further enacted that William A. Grenville shall <br />be and he is hereby appointed Returning Officer to hold the first <br />election of Reeve and Councillors for the said Village of Kingsville, <br />and he shall give one week's written notice thereof, posted up in at <br />least three conspicuous places in the said village, and he shall preside <br />at the nomination of such Reeve and Councillors, or in can of his <br />I absence, the electors present shall choose from among themselves a <br />chairman, who shall have all the powers of a Returning Officer, and <br />and the duties of the Returning Officer shall be those prescribed by law <br />with respect to incorporated villages. <br />V. The Township Clerk of the Townships of aosfield <br />shall fitmish to the Returning Officer, upon demand made by him <br />for the same, a certified copy of so much of the last revised <br />assessment rolls of the said township as may be required to aster- <br />Lain the persona entitled to vote at such first election, or with the <br />collectors' rolls, documents, writing or statement that may be required <br />which copies shall be verified on oath, as now required by law, <br />and the expense of furnishing the same shall be borne and paid by <br />the Village Council to the parties entitled thereto. <br />VI. The several persons who shall be elected or appointed under <br />this by -law shall take the same oaths of office and of qualification as <br />j are now prescribed by law. <br />VII.
