THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX BY-LAW NOMSER//f A BY-LAW TO CONFIRM PROCEEDINGS OF THE C0I~CIL OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX AT ALL ITS MEETINGS HELD DURING THE January 10,11, 25, 1967 SESSION. WHEREAS by Section 9 of the Municipal Act~ being Chapter' 249 of the Revised Statutes of Ontario~ 1960~ the powers of a :municipal corporation are to be exercised by its council; AND WHEREAS by Subsection 1 of Section 242 of the Municipal Act~ being Chapter 249 of the Revised Statutes of Ontarior 1960~ the powers of every Council are~to be:exercised by By-law; AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient 'that rlhe proceedings of the council of the Corporation of the County of Essex at these meetings be confirmed and adopted by By-law; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex enacts as follows: I. That action of the Council of the Cocporation of the County of Essex in respect of each recommendation ,vontained in the Reports of the Coamittees and each motion and resol~rio:o p~ssed and other action taken by the Council of the Corporation of the Cou~,ty of Essex at these meetings is hereby adopted and confimned as if al2. such proceedings were expressly embodied in this By-law'. 2. The Warden and proper officials oi 'the Corporation of the County of Essex are hereby authorized and directed ~o do ~ things necessary to give effect to the action of the Coua~i~il of the Corporation of the County of Essex referred to in preceding section hereof. 3. The Warden and the Clerk are authorized and directed to execute ali documents necessary in that behalf and to affix thereto the seal of the Corporation of the County of Essex.
