1i 24 BY=LAW Se BY -f,AW N0. 115G. N A By•Luw 0 appoint two Auditors for the County of Essex,.for the year 1890. Passed January 81st, 1890. Whereas by Section 258 'of t$e Mbnicipal Act, Chapter 184, of the Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1887, every Council shall, at the first meeting thereof, in every. year after being duly organised, appoint two auditors, one of whom shall be such pereoa as the bead of the Council nominates. And whereas John A. Auld, Esquire, the bead of the Corporation of the County of Eases, basin pureusnoe of the said section, nominated W.F. Munro as one of the said auditors for the present year. Be it therefore enacted by the Municipal Council of the County of Essex, that the nomination of the said W. F. Munro be and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed. And be it further enacted that 8lanson Elliott be and he is hereby appointed said auditor for the County of Essex for the present year to set in - eoujunction with the '*aid W. F. Munro. And be it farther enacted that the Wd W. F. Munro and Alanson Elliott @hall be entitled to receive as s salary the sum of seventy -five dollars per annum .teaysble when the work is completed. The duties of the said auditors *ball be those prescribed in Section 268 of the @aid Lot. Lnd be it farther enacted that the said auditors shall also preparb an abstraot of the reeeipts, expenditure*, assets and liabilities of the said oorporation, and also a detailed atatemeat of the said partioulare under the different heads as they appear in the books of the Cooaty Treasurer, and report in duplicate all accounts audited by them and Waite a report of say expenditure made contrary to law. and Shall file the W=in the oboe of the Clerk of the said County within ones M0011 after their appointmrat.
