In default of settlement of ;the amount ;due under your bond <br />Council will have to proceed against you for the recover y of the same. <br />B- 'T, A w WO_ 155_ <br />will lend you <br />protect your <br />forthwith, the <br />To Appoint a Treasurer for the County of Essex. <br />PASSED 24TH DECEMBER, 1889. <br />WHEREAS, The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex, in <br />council assembled, did, on the 24th day of December, 1889, by vote duly elect Henry <br />liorand, of the Township of Sandwich East, in the County of Essex, Treasurer of the said <br />County of Essex in lieu and stead of Thomas H. Wright, and <br />WHEREA99 It is necessary to repeal Bylaw No. 10, passed by this Council on the <br />16th day of June, 1881, <br />Bb 179 THEREFORE, ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Corporatioc of the <br />County of Eesex, in council assembled, <br />1sT. That Bylaw No. 10, passed by the said Council on the 16th day of June, 1881, <br />be and the same is hereby repealed. <br />2ND. Be it further enacted that the said Henry Morand be and is hereby appoint- <br />ed to all intents and purposes the Treasurer of the said Conuty of Essex in lieu and stead <br />of the said Thomas H. Wright, and that he, the said Henry Morand, shall enter upon the <br />duties of tie said office as soon as he shall have executed the bonds or securities to the <br />satisfaction of this Council, for the due performance of the duties of the said office, and the <br />...bunting for all monies that may be received by him, and that he shall be entitled to all <br />fees and emoluments to be hereafter derived therefrom. <br />31LD. Be it further enacted that the said Henry Morand shall be entitled to receive a <br />Wary of $1,3W per annum for his services as Treasurer of the said County of Essex, <br />4Tu And be it further enacted that the salary to be paid to the said Henry Morand <br />shall be paid by the said Treasurer of the said County of Essex proportionally at the and <br />of each month, upon the production to him of a pay sheet prepared in accordance with the <br />resolution passed by this Council on the seventh day of Jane, 180, which pay sheet, <br />after being duly signed by the partiep entitled to receive salaries thereunder, shall be a <br />j proper voucher to him, the said Henry Morand, of the due payment of the same. <br />[Signed) GEORGE WINTEMUTE, <br />[Signed] THOMAS McKEE, Clerk.
