BYLAW NO. 99 Ts raise by way of loan the sum of $9 00o to complete the payment of the M pairs and enlargement of the new gaol, and for other purposes. Passed September 215t, 1886. Whereas the Corporation of the County of Essex have resolved to raise, by way of loan, the sum of $9,00o to complete the payment of the repairo and enlargement of the new gaul, and to make some further necessary repairs them. to and therein. And whereas the amount of the whole rateable property of the said cor- poration, according to thf last revised and equalized assessment rolls of the said corporation, being the rolls for the year 1885, is $10,527,166. And whereas for the purpose of naying the said debt of $9,00o and interest it will require the r-um of $1.350 to be raised in the year 2887, the suns of $t - 3o5 in the year 18881 the gum of $1,26o in the year 1889, the sum of $t 215 in the year 1890, the sum of $1,170 in the year 1891, the sum of $19125 in the year 18929 the sum of $I,o8o in the year 1893, the sum of $1,035 in the year 1894, the sum of $990 in the year 1895, and the sum of $945 in the year 1896. And whereas the existing debt of the said corporation amounts to $5.000, tbewhole of which is for principal money, and no interest is in arrears. It is therefore enacted by the Council of the Corporation of the County of Em 1. That it shall be lawful for the purposes above recited, for the Warden of the said Corporation to cause ten bebentures to be made for the sum of $900 each, such debentures to be sealed with the seal of the Corporation and signed by the said Warden and County Treasurer, and be made payable at tho agency ofthe Merchants Bank of Canada, at Windsor, in the said County of Essex. 2.That the said debentures shall ba made payable onein each and every year during the next ten years from the date hereafter mentioned for this by -law to take effect and shall bear interest at the rate of fiveper centum per annum from the date4hrreof9 payable on the first day of October in each year, and shall have attached to them coupons for the payment of the said interest. 3. That there shall be raised, levied and collected, upon all the rateable property of the Countyof Essex over and and above all other rates the follow.
