THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX BY-LAW NO. 16 59 A BY-LAW TO DESIGNATE THROUGH HIGHWAYS WHEREAS Clause 26 of Sub-Section I of Section I of the Highway Traffic Act (R.S.O. 1960, Chapter 172) provides that: "through highway" means any highway or part of a highway designated as such by the Minister or by by-law of a Municipality approved by the Department, and every such highway shall be marked by a stop sign or yield right-of-way sign in compliance with the regulations of the Department. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex enacts as follows: The following highways or parts of highways under the jurisdiction of the County of Essex are designated as Through Highways:- COUNTY ROAD NUMBER FROM TO 2 3 Southern limit of County Road Number 2 Southern limit of Kings Highway Number 98 The boundary between the County of Kent and the County of Essex Southern limit of the Village of Wheatley Eastern limit of the Village of St. Clair Beach Eastern limit of the Village of Belle River Northern limit of Kings Highway Number 39 Southern limit of the City of Windsor Northern limit of the Town of Tilbury The boundary between the County of Kent and the County of Essex Northern limit of the Village of Wheatley High water mark of the North shore of Lake Erie Northern limit of Kings Highway Number 39 Western limit of County Road Number 2 between Lot A and Lot 8, Concession between Ruscom and Belle River fronting on Lake St. Clair Boundary between the County of Kent and the County of Essex Eastern limit of Kings Highway Number 18
