A BY-LAW TO DISSOLVE AND DISCONTINUE THE T.~.~J~IN~N HIgH SCHOOL DISTRICT COMPRISING

<br /> NHEHF~ the Council of the County of Essex passed a By-law
<br />establishing a H~h School IH~trict co~istn~ the Town of LeaKtngton, the Township
<br />of Hersea, and & portion of the Township of ~oeFleld South in the County of Essex,
<br />and the V~lage of ~heatley, and a portion of the _T~nsh~p of honey in the County
<br />of Kent.

<br /> AND ~EHEA~ the H~gh School District hoard of the Town
<br />of Leamington, the T~wnshtp of Nersea, and a portion of the Township of ~osfield
<br />South in the County of Essex~ and the FLlla~e of ~heatley, and a portion of the
<br />Townsb/p of honey in the County of Kent, has requested the County Council to
<br />discontinue the present Le~ueington Ktgh School District as provided for under
<br />Section 12, Subsection 1, of the Secondary Schools and hoards of Education Act,
<br />Chapter ~62, R.S.O. 1960 to clear the way for the establishment of a new H~gh
<br />School District which ~ould include the Town of Kin~v~11e, the Townsb/p of
<br />~osfield South, tho Town of Leou~gton, the Township of Nersea, in the County of
<br />Essex, the ¥~ of ~he&tley and & portion of tho Township of Ho~ney in the
<br />County of Kent.

<br /> NOW ~HE BE IT E~ACTED by the ~m~cipal Counct/ of
<br />the Corporation of the County of Essex as follows:

<br /> (1) That the Le-m~-gton H~gh School District which corny..
<br />prises the Town of Leamington, the Township of Mersea, and a portion of the Town-
<br />ship of Cosfield South described as lying easterly from a line co~nenc~ug at the
<br />southerly l~m~t of the line between lots 8 and 9 in the First Concession, Eastern
<br />Division, thence northerly followin~ the S~/d lot line to the Third Concessio~
<br />hoad, thence westerly alon~ the said road to the Charles W~le Sider, ad, thence. .......
<br />northerly alon~ the said sider.ad to the FOurth Concession Road, ,thence easterly
<br />alon~ the said Graham Sider. ad, thence northerly alon~ the sa~d sider, ad t~ the
<br />Townline between ~osfield North and Gosfield South Townships, in the County of
<br />Essex, and the Village of Wheatley and a portion of the Township of Romney, described
<br />as all of Lots 13 and 15, the north half and the southwest quarter of Lot 1~ in
<br />the S~xth Concession, all of Lots 11 to 1~ inclusive, the south half of Lot 16
<br />in the Fifth Concession, all of Lots 9 to 16 inclusive in the Fourth Concession,
<br />all of Lots ? to 16 inclusive and the south hslf of Lot 17 in the Third Concession,
<br />all of Lots ~ to 19 inclusive, the northwest part of Lot 20 lyin~ north of the
<br />Chesapeake and Ohio P~/lwny right-of-way, all of Let 20 lyin~ south of the Chesapeake
<br />and Ohio .]~va7 right-of-way, all of Lot 21 lyin~ south of the Chesapeake and
<br />Ohio Ha~lway right-of-way, all of Lot 22, the south half of LOt ~? and all of Lots
<br />25, 29, and ~0 in the Second Concession, all of Lots 1 to 1~ inclusive and Talbot
<br />Road Lots number 18~ to 206 inclusive in the First Concession and all of Lots 1 to
<br />6 inclusive in the Concession BF, in the County of Kent, be and the same is hereby
<br />dissolved and discont~nued on and after the first day of January, 196~, as provided
<br />for in Section 12, Subsection 1, of the Secondary Schools and Boards of Education
<br />Act, Chapter ~62, R.S.O. 1960, subject to the establishment of a H~gh School D~tr~ct
<br />comprising the Town of Eiu~ville, the Township of Cosfield South, the Town of
<br />Leamington, the Township of ~ersea, in the County of Essex, and the ¥illage of
<br />~heatley and. & Portiau ef the Townah~p of ho~ney, in the County of Kent.

<br /> (2) Th~ By-law shall co~e .into force and take effect
<br />retroactively on the let d~y of January, 196}, upon the apl~val of the N~-4=ter of:~
<br />
<br />Education.
