NOVEMBE SP ECI AL SESSION, 1969 6S7 <br />By -Law Number 1849 <br />RESTRICTING THE WEIGHT Olt' 'VEHICLX8 PASSE46 <br />OVER A BRIDGE. <br />WHEREAS subsection 8 of section 52 of The H"WnpW T=frw <br />Act (R.. S. O. 1960, Chapter 172) provides that: — <br />The municipal corporation or other authority having jtuieffietyon <br />over a bridge may by by -law approved by the Department make regs. <br />lati0ns limiting the weight of any vehicle or combinatlam off( vehicles <br />or any class thereof passing over such bridge; <br />AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to limit the weight of <br />vehicles passing over a bridge in the Municipality of the Towmbip of <br />711bury North. <br />NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the <br />Municipality of the County of Essex enacts as follows: — <br />L No vehicle or combination of vehicles or any class tbmw, <br />whether empty or loaded, shall be operated over the bridge known as <br />Big Creek Bridge at Lot 18, Concession 2 and 3 an Road between <br />Concession 2 and 3 in the Municipality of the 1bbwnship of Tilbury <br />North with a weight in excess of 26,000 pounds. <br />2. Any person violating any of the provision of this by-law <br />shall be subject to the penalties provided In subsection 7 of section 52 <br />at The Highway Traffic Act. <br />3.
