AUGUST SPECIAL SESSION, 1967 629 THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX By -Law Number 1719 A BY -LAW TO CONFIRM PROCEEDINGS OF TRZ COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX AT ALL ITS MEETINGS HELD DURING THE AUGUST, 1861 SESSION. WHEREAS by Section 9 of the Municipal Act, being Chapter 249 of the Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1960, the powers d a municips) corporation are to be exercised by its council; AND WHEREAS by Subsection 1 of Section 242 of the Municipal Act, being Chapter 249 of the Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1960, the powers of every Council are to be exercised by By -law; AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient that the proceedings of the council of the Corporation of the County of Essex at theme meet- ings be confirmed and adopted by By -law; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex enacts as follows: 1. That action of the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex in respect of each recommendation contained in the Reports of the Committees and each motion and resolution passed and other aetian taken by the Council of the Corporation of the County of Emeex at these meetings is hereby adopted and confirmed as if all such p mcee& lnp were expressly embodied in this By -law. 2. The Warden and proper officials of the Corporation of the County of Essex are hereby authorized and directed to do all things neaessary to give effect to the action of the Council of the CorSmsti= of the County of Essex referred to in preceding section hereof. $. The Warden and the Clerk are authorized and directed to execute all documents necessary in that behalf and to affix thereto the U9 of the Corporation of the County of Essex.
