JUNE REGULAR SESSION, 1967 491 By -Law Number 1712 A BY -LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE COU14W OF ESSEX TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 1592 AS AMENDED BY BY -LAW NUMBER 1629 AS FURTHER AMENDED BY BY -LAW NUMBER 1683 PASSED ON THE 25th DAY OF JANUARY, 1967 FOR THE APPOINT- MENT OF A cOUNTY ENGINEER AND ROAD SUPER- INTENDENT FOR THE COUNTY OF ESSEX AND SET- TING THE SALARY AND ALLOWANC M FOR THE SAID POSITION. WHEREAS it is deemed to be more satisfactory to all parties concerned that Clause 2 of By -law Number 1692, passed on the 17th MY of November, 1965, as amended by By-law Number 162(1„ passed ca the 16th day of February, 1966, as further amended by Bylaw Number 1683, passed on the 25th day of January, 1967 be further amen- ded. BE IT THEREFORE enacted and it is hereby enacted by the Cmxil of the Corporation of the County of Eksrx: (1) THAT Clause 2 of By -law Number 1592 as amended by By-law Number 1620 and further amended by By-law Number 1683, be further amended by striking out the words and figures "Fifteen Thow OW Five Hundred and Fifty -one Dollars ($15,551.00)" in the fifth lice thereof, and substituting therefor the words and figure "Sbrteee M"Loand Two Hundred and Thirty -eight Dollars ($16,238.00)" said striking out the words and figures "1st day of January, 19m?" and sub• stituting therefor the words and figures "1st day of July, 19M in the dghth line thereof. (2) THAT two certified copies of this Bylaw be fmwwded by the Clerk without delay to the District Mee of the Municipal Roads Branch of the Department of Highways. (3) THAT this By-law shall not fosne into force and affect until approved by the Minister of Highways as provided is The Highway lmprovenent Act.
