BY-LAW NUMBER 1488 <br />OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX <br /> <br /> A By-law to authorize the Warden and Clerk to execute a Deed <br />from the Department of Highways to the Corooration of the County of Essex; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Corporation of the County of Essex has, by <br />resolution, expressed the intention of purchasing the said property and <br />lands described in the Deed hereto annexed for road purposes only; <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to execute a Deed in <br />favour of the Corporation of the County of Essex for All And Singular <br />that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying and <br />being in the TOWNSHIP OF MALDEN, in the County of Essex and Province <br />of Ontario, being composed of part of Lot 52, in the Fifth Concession, <br />in the said Township, and which said parcel or tract may be more <br />particularly described as follows: <br /> <br /> COMMENCING at a point in the Westerly limit of the road <br />between Concessions 5 and 6 at a distance of One Hundred and Eleven <br />feet (lll~) measured Northerly in that limit from the South-East angle <br />of Lot 52, said point being also distant Ninety-One and Ninety-Six <br />One-Hundredths feet (91.96') measured Northerly along the Westerly limit <br />of the road between Concessions 5 and 6 from the Northerly limit of <br />King's Highway #18 (as widened); <br /> <br /> THENCE North Ei~lty-Seven degrees and Twenty-Four minutes <br />West (N 87°-24' W) Twenty feet (20') to an iron bar; <br /> <br /> EiENCE South two degrees and Thirty-Six minutes West <br />(S 2°-36' W) Ninety-One and Ninety-Six One-Hundredths feet (91.96') to <br />a point in the Northerly limit of King's Highway #18 (as widened); <br /> <br /> THENCE South Eighty-Seven degrees and Twenty-Four minutes <br />East (S 87~-24' E) and following the last mentioned limit Twenty feet <br />(20') to a point in the Westerly limit of the road between <br />Concessions 5 and 6; <br /> <br /> THENCE North Two degrees and Thirty-Six minutes East (N 2°- <br />36~ E) and following the last mentioned limit Ninety~One and Ninety-Six <br />One-Hundredths feet (91.96'), more or less, to the place of beginning; <br /> <br /> CONTAINING by admeasurement the sum of Forty-Two One- <br />Thousandths acres (0.042 acs.) be the same more or less. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE TItE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX ENACTS <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> lo That the Warden and the Clerk be and they are hereby authorized <br />to execute the Deed hereto annexed and to affix thereto the seal_o~ the <br />Corporation. ~ <br /> <br /> 2.
