SPECIAL SESSION, 1966 THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ZW= By -Law Number 1655 A BY -LAW TO CONFIRM PROCEEDIN08 OF TW COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX AT ALL In MEETINGS HELD DURING THE SEPTEMBES 21, NO SESSION. WHEREAS by Section 9 of the Municipal Act, bent Cb** 249 of the Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1960, the powers of a muniod corporation are to be exercised by its council; AND WHEREAS by Subsection 1 of Section 242 of the ldunid* Act, being Chapter 249 of the Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1960, the Powers of every Council are to be exercised by By -law; AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient that the paneeedb of the council of the Corporation of the County of Eaaex at their meetings be confirmed and adopted by By -law; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corpoa'atim d the County of Essex enacts as follows: 1. That action of the Council of the Corporation of the Cbu* of Essex in respect of each recommendation contained in the Report of the Committees and each motion and resolution paused and *0 action taken by the Council of the Corporation of the County d Em at these meetings is hereby adopted and confirmed as if all awk Dee - ceedings were expressly embodied in this by -law. 2. The Warden and proper officials of the Coepomtim at ft County of Essex are hereby authorized and directed to do all WV necessary to give effect to the action of the Council Of the CWP0mti0 of the County of Essex referred to in preceding section heraat. 3.
