AUGUST SPECIAL SESSION, 1966 W By -law Number 1648 A BY -LAW TO CONFIRM PROCEEDINGS OF THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX AT ALL ITS MEETINGS HELD DURING THE AUGUST 110, 19M SESSION. WHEREAS by Section 9 of the Municipal Act, being Chapter 249 of the Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1960, the powers of a municipal corporation are to be exercised by its council; AND WHEREAS by Subsection 1 of Section 242 of the Municipal Act, being Chapter 249 of the Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1960, the powers of every Council are to be exercised by By -law; AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient that the promedirgs Of the council of the Corporation of the County of Essex at these meetings be confirmed and adopted by By -law; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation od the County of Essex enacts as follows: 1. That action of the Council of the Corporation of the County Of Essex in respect of each recommendation contained in the Reports Of the Committees and each motion and resolution passed and other action taken by the Council of the Corporation of the County at Ere= at these meetings is hereby adopted and confirmed as if all such pro. ceedings were expressly embodied in this by -law. 2. The Warden and proper officials of the Corporation of the County of Essex are hereby authorized and directed to do all thin necessary to give effect to the action of the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex referred to in preceding section bared. 3. The Warden and the Clerk are authorised aM directed to execute all documents necessary in that behalf and to affix tbMtp the seal of the Corporation of the County of Esser By -law read a first time this 17th day of August.
