170 FEBRUARY SPECIAL SE WOK. 190 By -Law Number 1621 A BY -LAW OF THE COUNTY OF FBSEX TO COTM M pRocF"INGS OF THE COUNCIL OF TM CORPORA- TION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX AT ALL PPS MEET - INGS HELD FEBRUARY, 16, 1961. WHEREAS by Section 9 of the Munidpal Act, being Chow 249 of the Revised Statutes of Ontario, 19W, the powers ot a corporation are to be exercised by its council; AND WHEREAS by Subsection 1 of Section 242 of the Mnddpd Act, being Chapter 249 of the revised statutes of Ontariq 1960; the powers of every council are to be exercised by By -lair; AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient that the peoceedi�u of the Council of the Corporation of the County of Fasm at these meetings be confirmed and adopted by By-law; NOW THEREFORE TH ECOUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX ENACTS AS FOIADWS: 1. That action of the Council of the Corporation of the Cox* of Essex in respect of each recommendation contained in the Reports of the Committees and each motion and resolution passed and olher action taken by the Council of the Corporation 6f the County at Idea at these meetings is hereby adopted and confirmed as if all such pro ceedings were expressly embodied in this by -law. 2. The Warden and proper officials of the Carporatim 61 the County of Essex are hereby authorized and directed to do all Nimp necessaroy t give effect to the action of the Council at the Owpoea- tion of the County of Essex referred to in preceding section kweat. 3. The Warden and Clerk are authorized and directed 10 execute all documents necessary in that behalf and to affix thwsb the Beal of the Corporation of the County of E3sm.
