MARCH SPECIAL SESSION, 19" is BY -LAW NUMBER 1280 A BYLAW OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX TO LEVY TM COURM OF ESSEX RATES TO PROVIDE FOR THE MONIES PAYABLE M DEIf T'fPE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT ACT AND FOR THE GENERAL 101PENSIS OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX FOR THE YEAR ML WHEREAS, it has been deemed expedient by the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex that there shall be raised, levied and collected in the different Towns, Villages and Townships is the County of Essex the several amounts set opposite their names in the schedule hereto attached and which forms part of this Bydaw. BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED BY THE MUNICVAL ODUNM OF THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX AS FOUAOWS: 1. That there shall be raised, levied and collected at the rats 41 0 mills on the Dollar, upon the whole rateable property in the County of Essex for the purpose of raising the sum of ($+167,41 7.80) Four Hundred and Fifty-Seven Thousand, Four Hundred and Seventew Dollars and Eighty -Nine Cents, being the amount estimated to COW the General Expenses for the Current Year, the annual amount to be raised under this By -law. I And it is further enacted by virtue of the Highway ImPoo►s' ment Act, and amendments thereto, there shall be raised, levied asd collected upon the whole rateable property in the County of RUN& at the rate of 5 mills on the Dollar, for the purpose of raison/ the sum of ($508,242.10) Five Hundred and Eight Thousand, Two Hundred and Forty -Two Dollars and Ten Cents, the amount required far the County Sbad System for the County of Faux for the year M& 3. And it is further enacted that the several assessM" Abe" dull be apportioned against and borne by the different Munid"U' ties in the proportion hereinafter mentioned and that the several am set opposite the name of each Municipality for the ssvud rates for which they are designated and shall be paid into tbs hands of the Treasurer within the time provided by By-law, to hs APPIW4 for the several purposes mentioned in this Bylaw.
