THAT By -law No. 1677 of the Corporation of the Township O f <br />Mersea, a certified copy of which is hereto annexed, be and the same <br />is hereby confirmed. <br />PASSED AND ENACTED this 20th day of June, 1952. <br />(Signed) C. Warden. <br />BY -LAW NUMBER 1671 <br />TOWNSHIP OF MERSEA <br />A BY -LAW TO PROVIDE FOR THE STOPPING UP AND SALE OF <br />A CERTAIN HIGHWAY IN THE TOWNSHIP OF MERSEA, BEING <br />PART OF THE TOWN LINE ROAD BETWEEN THE TOWNSHIP OF <br />MERSEA, IN THE COUNTY OF ESSEX, AND THE TOWNSHIP OF <br />ROMNEY, IN THE COUNTY OF KENT. <br />WHEREAS the orignial Town Line Road between the Township <br />of Mersea in the County of Essex and the Township of Romney is the <br />County of Kent throughout part of its course has never been opened <br />and to open the same would be impracticable owing to geographical <br />features, and is unnecessary owing to the construction of a diverted <br />road in lieu thereof. <br />AND WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Romney has here <br />tofore advertised Notice of its intention to stop up and sell part of <br />the said original road allowance within the Township of Romm. <br />AND WHEREAS Notice of the intention of the Council of tba <br />Township of Mersea to stop up and sell that part of the said Road <br />allowance in the Township of Merses has been duly published and <br />Posted up in accordance with the provisions of the statute applicable. <br />AND WHEREAS this matter carne up for consideration before <br />this Council at its meeting held on the 3rd day of July, IBM and <br />although no one appeared then or at any time to oppose the said <br />stopping up and sale, this Council directed the matter to stand over <br />
