MARCH SPECIAL SE98I0N, 1960 113 <br />BY -LAW No. 1081 <br />A BYLAW OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX to amend by -law <br />Na 841, providing for the Maintenance and Management of the <br />Home of the Aged in the County of Essex. <br />WHEREAS, it is expedient and necessary to provide for the <br />Maintenance, Superintendence, Care and Management of the Home <br />of the Aged, and to define the duties of the Officers and Inmates <br />in connection therewith. <br />WHEREAS, it has been found necessary to appoint a Physician <br />to the County Home of the Aged to replace Doctor J. G. Turnbull. <br />Doctors Micklin and Morrow of Leamington, Out., are hereby <br />appointed to the office of Physicians for the County Hoene of the <br />Aged. The said Drs. Micklin and Morrow shall receive a yearly <br />salary of $800.00 for his services as physician, and mileage in <br />connection with his duties. <br />The duties of said Physicians shall be as follows:- <br />1st. To superintend and direct the sanitary conditions of the <br />premises. <br />2nd. To visit the Home of the Aged at least once a week and <br />in can of sickness whenever called upon by the Keeper or Inspector. <br />8rd. To attend and prescribe, supply at his own expense and <br />prepare medicines for all cases and sickness and surgery that may <br />occur and generally to have the change of the health of all the <br />inmates including the Keeper and Matron and the servants of the <br />Institution. <br />4th. To examine and report to the Keeper or Inspector when <br />esiied on, all cases of inmates supposed by them or either of these <br />to bs feigning sickness -or otherwise as to their ability to work. <br />
