THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX BY-LAW NUMBER 1408 A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 1404 OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX FINALLY PASSED ON THE 21ST DAY OF JUNEs 1961~ AND BEING A BY-LAW AUTHOR- IZING THE BORROWING OF THE SUM OF $173s350.00 UPON DEBENTURES TO RAISE THE SUM REQUIRED CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUTION AND IMPROVEMENTS TO CERTAIN ROADS AND BRIDGES IN THE COUNTY OF ESSEX. WHEREAS By-law Number 1404 finally passed on the 21st day of June, 1961~ is a by-law authorizing the borrowing of the sum of $173~350.00 upon debentures to raise the sum required by the Corporation of the County of Essex for the purpose of construction of and improve- ments to certain roads and bridges in the County of Essex; AND WHEREAS section number 3 of the said by- law provides that the said debentures shall be payable at the Imperial Bank of Canada, corner of Sandwich Street and Mill Streets in the City of Windsors or at the principal office of the said bank in the City of Toronto; AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend the said By-law as hereinafter set forth. NOW THEREFORE the Corporation of the County of Essex enacts as follows: 1. That section number three of By-law 1404 finally passed on the 21st day of Junes 1961 be and the same is hereby repealed and the following inserted therefor: "(3) That the debentures shall be payable as to both principal and interest in lawful money of Canada and shall be payable at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce~ corner Sandwich Street and Mill Streets in the City of Windsor or at the principal office of the said bank in the cities of Toronto or Montreal.,' 2. This By-law shall come into force and take effect upon the final passing thereof. FINALLY PASSED this 21st day of June~ 1961: A. D.
