BY-LAW NO. /J ~/ A BY-LAW OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX FOR THE PURPOSE OF APPOINTING A COUNTY ROAD CO~ITTEE FOR THE lEARS AS LISTED ~EREIN. WHEREAS, subsection 4 of Section 11 of the Highway Improvement Act being Chapter 166 R. S. O. 1950, provides that a County Council shall be by law appoint three or five persons resid- ent of the County of Essex, who need not be members of the Council, who shall constitute a committee for the purpose of directing the work to be done on the County Roads System; ~D '~HEREAS it is necessary to amend paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, of the By-law Number 1304 of the County of Essex and to add paragraph 6 to make such appointments to fill the said Com- mittee as follows; 1. Tha~~~~~..be appointed and he is hereby appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the year 1960. 2. That.~~..~~~.'..be appointed aud he is hereby appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the year 1960 and 196~.~ 3. Thar~.~F~w~.~,~...be appointed and he is hereby appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the term of three years begino~ing with January 1, 1960. h. That~l~.be appointed, and he is hereby appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the term of four years be~.nn~.g wit~J~nuary 1, 1960. hereby sppointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for a term of five years beginning with January 1, 1960. 6. That the Warden of Essex County, by virtue of his office, be a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the year 1960. by repealed. All other By-laws inconsistent to this By-law are here- This By-law shall come into force and take effect as of the 1st day of January, 1960 and upon the approval of the Department of Highways.
