BY-TX , J NUMBER 1280 A BY -LAW OF THE COUNTY OF ESSTX TO LEVY THE COUNTY OF ESSEX RATES TO PROVIDE FOR THE MONIES PAYABLE UNDER THE HIGHWAY IMPROVF1:��NT ACT ANT FOR TH!, GENERAL EXPENSES OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX FOR THE Y_�!AR 1958. WHEREAS, it has been deemed expedient by the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex that there shall be raised, levied and collected in the different Towns, Villages and Townships in the County of Essex the several amounts set opposite their names in the schedule hereto attached and which forms part of this By -law. BE IT THEREFOTE ENACTED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE COU= OF E SEX AS FOLLOWS: 1. That there shall be raised., levied and collected at the rate of mills on the Dollar, upon the whole rateable property in the County of Essex for the purpose of raising the sum of 9' % �f �� /yyl .- � I � E a�ii u v� 9 being the amount estimated to cover the General Expenses for the C rent Year, the annual amount to be raised under this By -law. 2. And it is further enacted by virtue of the Highway Improvement Act, and amendments thereto, there shall be raised, levied and collected upon the whole rateable property in the County of Essex, at the rate of d m on the dollar, for the / pur of � rais i ng the sum /- /1yL /(/� It amount required for the County Road ystem for the County of Essex for the year 1958. 3. And it is further enacted. that the several assessments above shall be apportioned against and borne by the different Municipalities in the proportion hereinafter mentioned and that the several sums set opposite the name of each Municipality for the several rates for which they are designated and shall be paid into the hands of the Treasurer whithin the time provided by By -law, to be applied for the several purposes mentioned in this By -law.
