Essex Region Conservation Authority <br />360 Fairview Avenue West, Essex, Ontario, Canada N8M I Y6 <br />(519) 776 -5209 fax (519) 776 -8688 <br />email: admin @erca.org - homepage: www.erca.oriz <br />THIS IS A WIND /FLOOD ADVISORY <br />The Essex Region Conservation Authority advises that, due to predicted winds of 351<ph with gusts of <br />up to 451<ph from the northeast over the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of shoreline and beach <br />erosion, nearshore deepening and damaging waves in the following shoreline areas: <br />The northeast shoreline of Pelee Island and the east shoreline of the Municipality of <br />Leamington, the most westerly reach of Lake St. Clair in the Municipalities of Tecumseh and <br />Windsor. <br />The Essex Region Conservation Authority also advises that, due to forecasted precipitation of 30 to <br />50mm of rainfall over the next 24 hours with steady rainfall, combined with already saturated soil <br />conditions, a possibility of flooding exists throughout the region. <br />� J G � <br />Issued by: <br />Tim Byrne <br />Coordinator of Flood & Erosion Control <br />(5 19) 776 -5209, ext. 350 (if no answer, dial ext. 346) or (5 19) 796 -2300 cell <br />Date: Monday, November 28, 201 1 Time: 2:00 pm <br />This advisory is in effect until: 10:00 am - Wednesday, November 30, 201 1 <br />Municipalities and Other Agencies: <br />Upon receipt, hand directly to the Flood Coordinator or Emergency Planner for your Municipality or <br />Agency. <br />Media: <br />Upon receipt, hand directly to your newsroom. <br />
