THa COFPOPATION OF THE COUNTY OF ES~TEX BY-LAW NO. 1177 ~ A ~w.~ ~d ~-Law ~. ~ (b~ ~ a ~-law to p~vide pensions for ~ployees); ~EAS By-Law ~188 has set up a pension ple~~ a ve~ ~mbstan~ g~up of County ~plo~ees. ~{D r,R~EAS other County ~]mployees have indic~ted t!~eir desir~ to be co~ered by a similar Plan. COUNCIL ~ACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. That By-Law ~1165, be, and is hereby, amended ss follows: The words "Reads Depart~ent" shall be deleteJ from the first sentence o£ the ~y-L~w ~nd this se~te~ce shall now read "Being a By-Law to provide pensions for ~?loyees of the County. ". The words "and has not attained the age of 60" shall be delet~ from Section i (a) of the Plan £on~ing pert of ~.he By-Law and this Section i (a) shall no~ read: "Each present employee is eligible to become a member of the Plan provided he has con~pleted twelve ncnth' s of se~ce at the effective date, and has attained the s.[{e of 21.". (c) The words "provided he nas not attained the age of 60 if male or 55 if female" sh~! be deleted fro~ Section 1 (b) of the Plm~ and this Section I (b) shall now read: "Each present employee ~ho is not yet eliLible to join the Plan will be eli.~fible to become a member on the ne~t anniversary of the Plan following completion of twelve month's of service or following the attainment cf age 21.". (d) The word "County" shall be substituted for the words "Roads Dept." in ±he first line of Section i (c) of the Plan. READ A First and Second time this 9th ~ay December 1955.
