A BYLAW OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX TO LEVY THE COUNTY RATE, TO PROVIDE FOR THE MONEYS PAYABLE UNDER THE HIGHWAY ~T~_ ?ROVEMENT ACT AND FOR THE GENERAL EXPENSES OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX. ~EAS, it has been deemed expedient by the Council of the Corporatio~ of the County of Essex, that there shall be raised, levied and collected in the ~_tfferent TOWNS, villages and Townships in the County, the several amounts set opposite their names in the Schedule hereto annexed and forms part of this Bylaw. BE IT THEREFORE ENACT~ by.the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex as follows; le That there shall be raised, levied and collected at the rate of .~.i.~v... for~the purpose of rasing the sum of ~.....~~.~.~. being the amount estimated to cover ~the general expenses for the curren$ year, the animal amounts to be raised under byla~e 2e AND IT IS FURTHER E~AOTED'by virtue of the Hig~a~ Improvement Act, amd amendm_ents thereto, and in accordance with the provisions thereof, there shall be lev~, raised and collected upon the whole rateable property in the Oounty of Essex~ at the rate of e.,~*:.., mills on the dollar, for the purpose quired for the ~ounty Road System of the ~ounty of Essex~ 3. AND IT IS FURTHER ENACTED that the sevdral assesments above shall be ap- portioned against and borne by the different Municipalities in the proportion hereinafter mentioned and that the several sums set opposite the name of each M~nieipality in the Schedule attached hereto, which schedule shall form part of this bylaw, shall be levied and collected thereon upon the whole rateable property of each Municipality for the several rates for which they are designated and shall be paid into the hands of the Treasurer within the time provided by Bylaw, to be applied for the several purposes mentioned in this bylawe assed in open Counc this of arch, Warden~
