BY LAW _/ <br />,14 e <br />TO DESIGNATE THE ONTARIO MUNICIPAL BOARD AS ARBITRATOR <br />wHF,P�EAS pursuant to the provisions of The Town of Riverside <br />Act 1ti50, the Town of Riverside was separated from the County of Essex as <br />of the 1st day of January 1951; <br />AND 'WHEREAS by notice dated the 9th day of January 1951 the <br />Corporation of the Town of Riverside advised the County that it requires an <br />adjustment of the assets and liabilities between the Corporation of the County <br />of Essex and the Corporation of the Town of Riverside in accordance with the <br />provisions of The Municipal Act applying thereto; <br />KID w1JEREAS the said municipalities have been unable to agree <br />in respect of such adjustment and have agreed to designate The Ontario Mun- <br />icipal Board pursuant to Section 359 Of The Municipal Act, as the sole ar- <br />bitrator to determine the matter; <br />NOW THEPXFORLI THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF VIE", CORPORATION OF THE <br />COUNTY OF ESSEX ENACTS: <br />1. That The Ontario Municipal Board is hereby designated as the <br />sole arbitrator, to have and exercise all of the powers and duties of an <br />official arbitrator as provided in The Municipal Arbitrations Act, subject <br />to the saw rights of appeal therefroin for the purpose of adjusting the assets <br />and liabilities between the Corporation of the County of Essex and the Corpor- <br />ation of the Town of Riverside pursuant to the provisions of the Town of River- <br />side Act 1950. <br />FXACTED this day of March, 1951. <br />Warden <br />Cier-rc <br />
