As the Leafs appear ready to make it to <br /> the playoffs one year in a row, across the river, the Red Wings steadily march toward their 22nd <br /> consecutive post-season appearance—by far the longest active streak in all of professional <br /> sports. The last time the Leafs won the Stanley Cup —the majority of us would have been in <br /> diapers and my guess is by the time they win it again, we'll all be back in diapers. <br /> I hope everyone was able to enjoy the recent Easter holiday with family and friends. <br /> Marianne, I'll bet when you planned this luncheon, you didn't realize you would be competing <br /> with another near-religious event in our region — Opening Day for the Tigers over at Comerica <br /> Park.
