January 20, 1950. <br />BY -LAIC NO. 1080 <br />A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A COUNTY ROAD COMMITTEE: <br />SEAS Subsection 4 of Section 12 of the Highway Improve = -tent Act, as <br />amended by Section 1, Chapter 9 of the Highway Improvement Act, 1915, provides <br />that County Council shall by try -lax, appoint three or five persons residents of the <br />County who need not be members of the Council who shall constiture a Committee <br />For the purpose of directing the work to be done on the County Road 8,rstemt <br />AND WHEREAS the Essex County Council has decided that their Committee <br />shall consist of four members of the Council and the Wardenf <br />AND WHEREAS the Council of the County of Essex has not, up to the present <br />tine, passed by -laws for such appointments. <br />THEREFOR BE IT ENACTED in Municipal Council of the Corporation of the <br />County of Essex. <br />1. That C, C. Norris, Reeve of Tilbury Pest be and he is hereby appointed <br />a member of the Essex County Road Committee for a term of four years commencing the <br />first day of January, 1950. <br />2. That panto Noble, Reeve of Yersea is hereby continued as a member of the <br />Essex County Road Committee for the years 1950, 1951 and 1952. <br />3. That Warden McCormick, Reeve of Colchester South is hereby continued <br />as a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the years 1950 and 1951. <br />4, That Sanford Morley, Reeve of Kingsville is hereby continued as a member <br />of the Essex County Road Committee for the year 1950. <br />5. That Ferman Sinasac, `harden of the County of Essex, by virtue of his <br />office, be a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the year 1950. <br />6. This by -law shall come into force and take effect as of the first day <br />of January 1950. <br />FINALLY PASSED in Open Council this 20th day of January A. D. 1950. <br />x WARDEN <br />
